BIO

Marlène Harnois is an Olympic medalist, philanthropist, and Knight of the French National Order of Merit. A double European taekwondo champion and medalist at the London 2012 Olympics, she has also won a World University Championship and reached the top ranking in the global taekwondo standings. Nidecker is deeply committed to the development of sport in Africa through her foundation Heart Angel, where she works alongside other nonprofit organizations to promote sport and help young people pursue their dreams. She is also a Champion for Peace at Peace and Sport, and a supporter of the Canadian Olympic Committee, the European Taekwondo Union, and a consultant for France Télévisions during the Rio Games.
