Mr. Pap Ndiaye has been Ambassador, Permanent Representative of France to the Council of Europe since August 1, 2023. A historian and academic, he was Minister of National Education and Youth, and Director General of the Établissement public du Palais de la Porte Dorée. Since 2013, he has also been a university professor at Sciences Po Paris. Mr. Ndiaye is a highly acclaimed author of numerous books and articles on the comparative history of minorities (in the USA and France) and has been a guest professor at many foreign universities and has lectured around the world. He is a Knight of the Légion d'honneur, of the Ordre national du Mérite and Commander of the Palmes académiques.
