BIO

Britta Heidemann is a three-time Olympic medalist and Olympic champion in fencing from the 2008 Beijing Games. She is the only fencer to achieve the "Golden Triple," simultaneously holding the titles of Olympic, World, and European Champion. She currently sits on the Executive Board of the Olympic Refuge Foundation, which, among other responsibilities, supports the IOC Olympic Refugee Team. Additionally, she is involved in the Advisory Board of the DFL Foundation of the German Bundesliga and acts as a Special Ambassador for "Sport for Development" for the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). With a background in Chinese regional studies and fluency in Chinese, she works as a business consultant and dedicates her time to developing international relations in business and politics beyond sports.
