Christian prud'homme is a former sports journalist and the current director of the Tour de France. He began his career in the late 1980s with Pierre Cangioni's Télé matches program and went on to become a sports journalist for France Télévisions. He has also been vice-president of the Ligue nationale de cyclisme (LNC) since 2008 and president of the Association internationale des organizateurs de courses cyclistes (AIOCC) since 2011.
